Drone and array acoustics since 2015.
Mechanical design and DFM at the core, and whatever else the product needs on a small team, which lately has meant FPGA signal chains and networked audio. I have taken parts through injection moulding, extrusion and CNC, and a product through the semiconductor shortage.

02Background
I co-founded Dotterel Technologies in 2015. On Konos 1 I owned supplier management, assembly and test, with industrial design assistance from Blender Design; on Konos 2 and Konos Digital I was the sole mechanical design engineer. The product is award-winning and ships to entertainment and government customers. The Konos Digital design is nearly finished, so I am available for work alongside it.
The work has been acoustics throughout. Sound camera testing on shrouds, CFD, shroud and coaxial propeller design, the airborne microphone arrays, then an eighty-element MEMS array in a shipping product.
